The Spring Festival finishes at the Lantern Festival after two weeks.People usually eat a kind of rice dumpling called yuanxiao.It can take people good luck all the year round.

My family is going to pay New Year's visits to many relatives and friends during the Spring Festival

Spring Festival is coming.It is China's traditional festival ,and it's also the one of the most important festivals .I like Spring Festival because it brings many interesting things to us. On the eve of Spring Festival ,the parents always buy all kinds of goods, like food, clothes in the shopping store and do some cleaning .In the morning of Spring Festival ,we wake up earlier and say Good Luck and Happy New Year to each other when we come across . Antithetical couplet are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate .Parents are busy with preparing different kinds of dishes .Each family its members gather together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strikes twelve at the same time friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other.Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year. We always have many wishes of the new year and I think after we make great efforts they will be coming true.
